leapard geko
the leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius) are native to Pakistan Iran, Afghanistan, and parts of India. they are brightly colored gecko the colors they are lavender a faint pink white brown yellow and many different colors to.there are some things that make the leopard gecko stand out from the rest they have movable eyelids in fact that's part of there name Eublepharis meaning true eyelid and macularius meaning spotted so in fact they are called the true eyelids spotted.when leopard geckos are born they have stripes on them not spots but then there spots turn into stripes as they get older giving them there name the leopard gecko. they are around 20 to 25 cm (8 to 10 inches) long that's not that big at all. In the day they find shelter since it is very hot. they eat crickets, worms, locusts, and "pinkie".they can loos there tail if in danger like most lizards but if you have one as a pet try not to touch the tail because if it does fall of a new one will grow but it will never be as active a the old one. | ![]() cute!!!!!!!! very vey very cute |

Arctic puffin
You can find Arctic Puffins in the Northern Hemisphere. They live along coast and beaches. Puffins build their nests in large groups, along with auks, gulls and other birds that live in the arctic, where they build their nests a hole in the mountains.
Puffins eat salmon, minnows, and zooplankton and they can fit up to 30 small fish in their mouth! They get their food in groups.
The
male puffin builds a nest for the female puffin to lay 1 to 5 white speckled
eggs. Puffins always guard their baby puffins or their baby puffin eggs from
dangers and both incubate and feed their babies. It can take up to 40-43 days
for a baby Puffin to hatch.

Arctic fox
You can
find arctic foxes all around the North Pole green land Iceland.
They are related to dog’s foxes and wolves.
They are carnivores because they eat things like lemmings, different types of arctic bird their chicks and their eggs. They also eat arctic hares.
In Norway and Sweden there are about 120.
Adult arctic foxes dig burrows in the sides of mountains or cliffs and sleep there.
An Arctic Fox has a very thick white coat for the winter. In the summer there coat changes color a bit too brownish grey. The female arctic fox has around 11 pups in every litter but if there is not much food around she may only have about 5 to 6 pups. The female and the male work as a team to look after their pups.
Threats to the arctic foxes:
Polar bears kill them and hunters kill them for there beautiful fur coat (Arctic Fox’s fur is expensive)

The arctic hare
is not the same thing as a snowshoe hare and is not even the same as a rabbit.
There are two types of hares that live in Arctic areas - they are the Arctic
hare and the Tundra hare. The major difference between them is where they live;
the arctic hare is larger than a snowshoe as his fur is long and white all the
way through in, on top and white beneath. Arctic hares lives in northern regions of Canada Newfoundland some Arctic
islands and Greenland. Arctic hares live both
mountainous and lower areas. They require country side with sheltered areas
that allow food to grow in the short summer. In the summer there coat is
brownish Grey and in the winter it turns nearly pure white. In the winter they
sometimes eat meat. They also feed on fruit and bare twigs just beneath the
snow.
